The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the curriculum we will follow from birth up to 5 years.
A Few Words About Our Nursery
Eastwood Neighbourhood nursery is a successful childcare provision caring for children aged from 0 to 14 years (Early Years provision 0 to 5 years & Before/ After School and Holiday Club 3 to 14 years).
Our nursery is a purpose built, single story building with three care rooms, community room and kitchen/ laundry room. We have three outdoor play areas and disabled access.
We are situated in Joiners Square, near Hanley City Centre and also near Staffordshire University & local colleges.

Learn through play
It is important to us that your child enjoys their learning experience with us. Building secure attachments and support in all areas of learning and development using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Support Services
Our SEND lead has over 37 years experience and we are also able to access a wide variety of professionals including Speech & Language, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities etc.
Toys and Games
We provide a programme of activities that are interesting, educational, stimulating and fun, covering all areas of learning with an wide range of educational resources.
Child Care
We care for children in a safe, clean and friendly setting. During their time at nursery we encourage each child to be independent and self disciplined, to develop a sense of responsibility for themselves and respect for others and the environment.
Love and Care
Children feel loved, valued and safe at our nursery. It is important to us that parents have the knowledge that their child is well supervised and receiving the highest quality of love and care. ‘A home from home’
Physical Activity
Children get plenty of opportunity to play in our exciting, vibrant and stimulating outdoor play area enabling them to participate in a wide variety of learning experiences.
